About the author

I am a philosopher at heart. I am also a Lean convert and a social collaboration enthusiast, combining the two into Lean social business.

I am on my third career, process improvement and strategy, although I consider all of them to be interlinked and vital to giving me the perspective I have now.

My previous careers were in documentation/localization and philosophy, during which I spent several years researching the work of John Stuart Mill.

Furthermore, I am a social media enthusiast and have used various forms of online communication tools from the beginning: BBS in the 1980s and 1990s, online forums and ICQ in gaming communities starting from 2001, and now social media.
